Vincent J. Interlande

My name is Vincent J. Interlande and I was born, raised and lived in the Greenfield, Massachusetts area for 64 years. I recently moved to North Bennington, Vermont. I have a career history of teacher, machinist, store owner and most importantly, a self-learned home builder/renovator. I began a long time dream of writing in 2001 after going through a gentle but unwanted divorce and found my writing a great therapy. Music and hard physical work also invigorates my mental and physical character.

My book, "Emotional Transition: A Journey of The Human Spirit" was born from my divorce and the emotional ride I took to get through the hard feelings and character traits that surfaced from my past. The book is a mini-bio of myself emersed in self-motivational thought for the reader. I hope to focus the reader to identify with my experiences and transfer to their own experiences and emotional feelings. My purpose is to motivate the reader to look at a mirror of themself and inspire a discovery of their inner soul and move forward with positive steps. This book has detailed personal information, short story experience of drama and humor and themed traces of poetry that identifies with the mood of the chapters, which start from youth and proceed into adulthood and the events and experiences that effect life.

I am presently trying to publish a 300 page book of poetry also concerned with emotional growth, working on two short books of poetry, a book of short stories and just started a dramatic, mystery based novel. My intention is not to just write words, but to write to penetrate the hearts of the readers that may become interested in my books.
