Jamie Diamond

Jamie Diamond has been teaching for twenty-one years. Her teaching career started when she was hired as a special services assistant at Prairie Middle School in Barrington, Illinois. After four years of working in special services, she made a move to teaching sixth grade. During her time as a sixth grade teacher, she taught math, science, social studies, language arts, and reading. During the 2013/2014 school year, she has started a new endeavor as a seventh grade English teacher. She also co-teaches a graduate level class on integrating technology into literacy instruction at Judson University in Elgin, Illinois for their Masters in Literacy program. Jamie also enjoys sharing with other educators through presentations she does at various local, state, national and international conferences with her co-author, Meg C. Gaier.
