J.L. Ray

Lisa Ray grew up in western North Carolina on a steady diet of science fiction, superheroes, fantasy, and fairy tales. She lived and worked in southeastern Virginia for over thirty years, teaching English composition and literature courses at one of Virginia’s fine community colleges. She and her husband recently retired and moved back to western North Carolina where they enjoy spending time with family, traveling, especially to microbrewery festivals, and going to live music. They have one very lovely, despotic cat who rules with an iron paw.
