Gary Lefman

Gary Lefman is a seasoned globalisation evangelist and educator. By day, he is a PhD researcher at Trinity College Dublin with CNGL, the Centre for Global Intelligent Content, and by night, he is Cisco's Internationalisation Architect. In 2013, Gary became a Master of Science in Multilingual Computing and Localisation with the Localisation Research Centre at the University of Limerick, which culminated in the publication of his first book Internationalisation of People Names. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and the Royal Institution of Great Britain, and he is a professional member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Gary has a very deep interest in the positive impact of software internationalisation and localisation on society, and how systems interoperate with localised content.
