Meg Gaier-Knapik has been a middle school teacher for ten years in Barrington, Illinois. During her tenure, she has taught eighth grade algebra as well as sixth grade math, science, reading, and language arts. After focusing on cross-curricular literacy activities involving technology for her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, she decided she needed to share her successes with other educators. Meg has presented at many local, state, national, and international conferences on the topic of integrating technology into literacy activities across the curriculum. She is also an adjunct professor at Judson University in Elgin, Illinois, where she teaches a course titled "Integrating Technology into Literacy Instruction" as a part of their esteemed Masters in Literacy program. She is now completing her second master's degree in Educational Policy and Organizational Leadership.
