Born to a small farming community in the Southeast, I have vivid recollections of nights spent around a wood burning stove listening to my elders weave fantastic stories that were steeped in both fact and fiction. Storytelling permeates who I am as a human being and speaks to my soul. I find that there is power in the telling of a story and it is my preferred medium to communicate thoughts and ideas.

The only time in my life when I am truly free is when I am writing and I am honored to have the opportunity to share with the world.
