J. Ibeh Agbanyim

Dr. J. Ibeh Agbanyim, a Harvard-trained leadership coaching strategist, Amazon bestselling author, public speaker, and the founder of Focused Vision Consulting, LLC, has been a senior logistics associate at UPS for over twenty-five years. He is also a scholarly contributor and member of the review board for the Journal of Instructional Research at Grand Canyon University, Association for Psychological Science Student Caucus, a member of University of Phoenix Mentor Program, and the author of The Power of Engagement, Fear, The Five Principles of Collaboration, contributed a chapter on #1 Amazon International Bestseller, Journeys to Success #2 inspired by The Principles of Napoleon Hill, Amazon bestselling book, THINK, Lessons Learned, and Contentment.

His books were featured in several media including The Arizona Republic Newspaper, Phoenix Focus Magazine, The Write Up! # 1 Urban Newspaper, and Saturday Punch Newspaper, interviewed at Journey to Success RadioBlog and other radio media. In his book Fear, Dr. Agbanyim demonstrated how constructive fear can translate into success in whatever we do. For example, students who fear failing their exams, study hard by digging deeper into the courses, reading, investigating, and engaging in mental attitudes that will eventually guide them into their ultimate goal--passing their exams. Essentially, fear of failure is the beginning of success. His book The Five Principles of Collaboration addresses the importance of individuals collaborating in the workplace, relationships, and social settings for a shared goal. And his recent Amazon bestselling book, THINK, addresses the issues of unconscious bias, why think, the enemy within, follow the cloud, not the crowd, and many others. His latest books are, The Importance of Wise Decisions, Lessons Learned, and Contentment.

Dr. Agbanyim holds a master's degree and a PhD in general psychology with emphasis in industrial and organizational (I-O) psychology from Grand Canyon University. Dr. Agbanyim is a Harvard Kennedy School-trained leadership development practitioner who has also received training in nonverbal communication from Stanford, and neuroscience for leadership executive education from MIT Sloan School of Management. He is a member of the International Council of Psychologists, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, International Coaching Federation, and many others. Dr. Agbanyim resides in Mesa, Arizona with his wife and daughter.
