Laura Anthony

Laura Anthony is a public health professional with more than 25 years' experience in the hospital and home health arena working closely with patients, caregivers, social workers and physicians. She earned her Bachelors of Health Science at SUNY Cortland in 1985 and her Masters of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988. Following her formal education she resided in Boston, Massachusetts for over ten years and worked for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard-Pilgrim Healthcare and Private Healthcare Systems. Laura moved to Florida in 1999 with her family and expanded her healthcare experience to include home health.

Laura has always been passionate about healthcare and has dedicated her career to improving the lives of patients and caregivers. However, nothing opened her eyes more than her own real life experience of caring for her mother with Alzheimer's disease. Her personal journey has been life changing and a tremendous source of strength for others dealing with the disease.

Laura lives in Bradenton, Florida with her husband Tom, two children Benjamin and Christina, and their two cats- Sunny James and Fuzz Butt. Laura enjoys travel, movies and spending time with her family.
