John Wills

Informatician since 1970, with a couple of significant hiatuses, in one of which I wrote most of my book Albatross (although one part, the Introduction to Sexuality, goes back to a conversation in San Francisco 10 years earlier). I believe in honesty, logic and rationality, and in patience in achieving them. I think my readers will need some patience with themselves as I practice a kind of psychedelia on them. Baudelaire put this well, and that is why I include a poem of his and my translation of it at the start of Albatross.
