Young Kim was born in Washington, DC, grew up in Virginia, and was educated at Shimer College, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and The London School of Economics and Political Science. A practicing lawyer, Mr. Kim’s teaching interests include corporate and securities law, international law, and legal philosophy. He has taught at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, the University of Luxwmbourg Faculté des Droits et d’Economie, and the University of Colorado School of Law His research and writing interests cover intersections of law, morality, and politics, including questions of justice and questions of Law. His books in the area include The Question of Law (2024), Justice: Classical Foundations and Contemporary Debates (2018), and Justice as Right Actions (2015).
