Carole Davis lives with her husband, a golden retriever, and a flock of exotic chickens on Shaw Island, a sparsely populated jewel in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. Lifeguard, waitress, probation officer, family therapist and Spanish teacher turned writer, her passions include travel, river rafting, gardening, bridge, camping, and worldwide hospitality.
