Sile Walsh

Sile Walsh specialises in leadership and organisational development and has worked with over 22k+ Leaders and Organisations over the past decade in Ireland and internationally. She is an award-winning Irish Times and international bellselling author pursuing a PhD focused on inclusive leadership from a psychological perspective; a part-time lecturer in executive education, full-time consultant, coach and facilitator with a professional background in coaching psychology and organisational development.

Based in Dublin and works throughout Ireland and internationally, both in person and online.

Sile founded ELIS Advantage to support the development of Effective Leadership and Inclusive Solutions in organisations so they can be "high-performing, inclusive workplaces where people thrive, and great work gets done".

Sile is the global diversity and inclusion co-lead for the Association of Coaching. Voted in the top 10 coaches in Dublin by Influence and Digest, made the “Women who Break the Bias List” with Diversein, and speaks on international stages about leadership, inclusion & coaching psychology. Sile’s practice is integrative, psychologically minded, inclusive, and trauma-informed.

Sile is pursuing a PhD in Professional Practice: Psychological Studies at Canterbury Christ Church University, focusing on the psychology of inclusive leadership. Sile's formal education includes an HDip in Coaching Psychology and an MSc in Personal and Management Coaching from University College Cork. Alongside additional qualifications in Leadership, Participatory Management, and Professional Supervision.

Sile’s interest and commitment to trauma-informed and inclusive practices originate from her wider experiences of working across society, including with people experiencing mental health challenges, in recovery from addiction, incarcerated, LGBTQ+ community, people with experience in the Irish/UK care system, Irish travellers, early school leavers, neurodiversity, disabilities and others facing systemic barriers, as well as those with experiences of wealth and privilege.

Sile is a registered member of the Association of Coaching and an accredited individual and group supervisor with the Association of Coaching. A full member of the Association of Coaching Supervisors. Committee member for the Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group with the Psychological Society of Ireland. A psychometric tester with the British Psychological Society and a member of the Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group with the British Psychological Society. International associate member of the American Psychological Association. A member of the Society for Intercultural Education, training, and Research UK/EU.
