Pauline Dawber

Pauline Dawber, born in Manchester, England, grew up in South Africa, West Africa, Malaya, and Singapore. Educated at Brentwood Boarding School for girls in Lancashire. Pauline's writing developed organically; it wasn't something she had planned.

" I have always loved reading.

Books have been a great support for me throughout my life, and my small library has travelled everywhere with me.

As a youngster, my family lived overseas. We were living in Kuala Lumpur at the time, and my Grandfather used to send, from the UK, rolled-up comics every week!

It was the highlight of the week!

Needless to say, Desperate Dan, Beryl The Peril and Denis The Menace have remained some of my favourite characters!"

I enjoy writing for children. My first series, "Tales From Over The Moon," is about friendship and adventures with the whimsical characters of Busy Miss Hoover, Harold, The Larkdale Chickens, The Fiddler, Kassuku and Molly Mop and Bucket.

The retro-style illustrations are a delight.
