Bennett A. Bramson

Bennett A. Bramson was born in Miami Beach, Florida and has taught at the college, high school, and middle school levels since 1975. He has been honored by three different educational institutions for his teaching acumen. He has been a recognized consultant, nonprofit executive, and community leader, including being named “Citizen of the Year,” by the Town of Basalt; “Volunteer of the Year,” by both Pitkin County, Colorado and United Way of Miami-Dade County; Florida International University Alumni Association Torch Award winner for Community Leadership; and the three times by the Rotary Club of Aspen. His first book, BASALT – Images of America was published by Arcadia Publishing in 2013. He has served as the President of the Board of Directors of both the Basalt Chamber of Commerce and the Aspen Board of Realtors, being named “Realtor of the Year,” in 2012. He holds a Master's in Public Administration and Bachelor's in Parks and Recreation Administration and currently resides in Carlsbad, California with his wife, Jessica and their three rescue dogs.
