John P. McCann

A former calender editor for "LA Parent" magazine, John P. McCann has labored extensively in TV animation as a writer, story editor and producer. He's worked on shows such as "Tiny Toons Adventures," "Batman Beyond," "Jimmy Neutron," and "Animalia." In cooperation with the U.S. State Department and the Agency for International Development, McCann traveled twice to Cambodia on a project that used animated characters in a film promoting greater social acceptance for the many Khmer people maimed by land mines and unexploded ordinance.

McCann's short fiction has been anthologized in print and eBook publications such as "The Best of Every Day Fiction Three" and "Uncle John's Bathroom Reader." Under the name JP Mac, he has published a short eBook essay on Amazon Kindle Direct, "Jury Doody," detailing his experiences serving as a juror on a bizarre case. Longer works are inbound to Amazon within the next few months.

John lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Joy, a blogger, poet, and ace copy editor. They like short romantic walks with no uphill sections.
