Swaranjit Singh

After having served twenty-one years of commissioned service, the Author/Editor took early retirement from the Indian Army as a combat arms Lieutenant Colonel. He has managed full-service hotels and a construction company since retirement. Since 2008 he has managed his education business as a California State Education Vendor providing Notary Public Education ( with the option of free education as a service) under the aegis of the Secretary of State, California. He presents on Gandhi, Nonviolence, Mindfulness, and Peacebuilding on invitation(s) and at international conferences. He has also been teaching Breath Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness as a service as it is his passion and a hobby.

He has written three forewords on invitations to International publications (US, UK & India) on subjects of leadership, public relations, and eradicating violence/gun violence from society and schools. He reviews and advises on the improvement of systems and processes in workplaces/institutions. He facilitated the start of the Arab world's first master’s Program in Peace Studies in the West Bank in 2015. In 2018 he was invited by two U.S. Universities to speak at the international conference on “Dispute Resolution, Veterans for Peace” as a keynote speaker along with the spiritual leader of Tongva Nation, a counter-terrorism prosecutor, and U.S. Ambassador. He spoke on the dangers of the Military-Industrial Complex.

He has worked with the U.S. Government and is enthusiastic about democracy building infused with authentic justice, truth, equality, opportunities, and good governance. He is a Java programmer. He has an MA in “Life and Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi” and an MBA. Recently, he has authored legislation to improve California’s judicial system.

His writing was quoted in the Wisconsin International Law Journal in its concluding paragraph: Transforming international conflict resolution to catch up with the twenty-first century (promoting collective innovation). 35 Wis. Int’l L.J. 39-80 (2017).
