Gary W Miller

I am an academic scientist with an interest in how the environment impacts our health. Seven years ago I wrote my first book The Exposome: A Primer to provide an introduction to this burgeoning field. Since that time the exposome has moved forward in an impressive way. A couple of years ago I decided it was time for an expanded version of the book. It took much longer than the first edition. Nearly tripled in size I believe The Exposome: A New Paradigm for the Environment and Health provides a thorough introduction to this important field.

In 2018 I relocated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA to Columbia University in New York City. I currently serve as the Vice Dean for Research Strategy and Innovation and Professor of Environmental Health Sciences at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
