Graham Scott

After decades writing for outlets like 'Top Gear', 'Hello!', the 'FT' and many others, Graham is now creating Norse Viking worlds in the 'Leaving Valhalla' series.

The hero of the series, Dagmar Egilsdottir, is a teenage Viking shield-maiden and she pushed herself forward in his waking-dreams until she took centre stage. With her axe, Bruk. The 9th century Viking girl has to survive 21st Century England.

Graham is well-placed to write about her challenges and fears, as he’s ridden a motorbike from Cairo to Cape Town, ridden a camel in the Gobi Desert of Outer Mongolia and rowed a dugout in the Amazon.

He has first-hand experience of hardship, hunger, thirst and fear itself. No, he didn’t go to boarding school.

Graham writes, delivers author talks to schools and societies and runs communication workshops in the Middle East
