Barbara Riddle

New York City native Barbara Riddle is the author of The Girl Pretending to Read Rilke, an autobiographical coming-of age novel about a young woman who wants to be a scientist. Kirkus Reviews called it one of the Best Indie Debuts of 2019. Barbara currently lives and writes full-time in Maine, where she’s working on a new novel and a graphic memoir about her bohemian childhood in Greenwich Village.
