Hello! My name is Robin Ulbredtch. I am a born-again Christian woman who loves Jesus and believes in using the gifts God has given me for His glory. I live in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho, with my spoiled dog, Roxy. Sandpoint is a resort town with outdoor activities, water sports, Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, and artistic events for everyone to enjoy. It is on the edge of beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. All year long you can take in the beauty of evergreen trees, seasonal changes, Lake Pend O'reille, and the beautiful mountains that surround this place. It is truly God's country, and the scenery inspires me to write and share about the greatness of God with others!

In 1980, after the birth of my first son, God intervened and stopped me from taking my own life because of overwhelming problems in multiple areas. Satan, my adversary, bombarded me with the discouraging words I had heard from others telling me how worthless I was compounded the problems. I was hurting inside so bad I wanted to end my life and the constant pain inside of me.

That day, without any prior plan, Satan's bombarding thoughts flooded my mind, and I decided to take my life because “I didn’t contribute anything, and I was worthless.” (All lies drilled into my head.) My newborn son was sleeping in his crib, and I took a sharp kitchen knife and was going to cut my wrist and end it all. No one knew I was doing this, and I was home alone with the baby. As I applied pressure to the knife, my son woke up and began crying loudly. I froze and thoughts about what would happen to him if I did this entered my mind. Suddenly I realized I had to live for him.

I retrieved my son from his crib, went out to the sofa, and sat down. I tried to calm down and comfort him as well. While I was sitting there the Holy Spirit brought remembrance of the miracles of Jesus I had learned in church, and the words ‘Jesus loves me’ I had heard so often, but didn’t realize the depth of that love. Suddenly I realized that God or one of His angels woke up my baby at the exact moment I applied pressure to the knife. It had to be God’s intervention because no one else knew what I was doing. God was watching me, and He intervened to save me that day. He also demonstrated His personal love for me, and I will never forget the revelation of His deep, personal love for me. God is not a big, far away God who’s is too busy for us. He is always watching!

God has healed my broken heart and life. He turned my past heartaches into good for His glory by allowing me to teach and minister His word to others. Only God can bring good out of the bad in our lives! My three-in-one God, Yahweh, is an AWESOME God!

The writer in Psalm 40:1-10 (NKJV) says that God pulled him out of the miry clay, put his feet upon a rock, gave him a firm place to stand and put a new song in his mouth--a song of praise to God. This is what God has done in my life, and He can do it for you too!

Behold Our Awesome God, a thirteen-week Bible Study, teaches about the attributes of God and how He uses them in the lives of people in the Bible. God is all knowing, all powerful, and everywhere present and He uses His attributes to help encourage and heal people. He also heals, protects, provides, and loves people. He wants to help us and to deliver us from all our troubles, if we will only listen and call upon His name.

In this world multitudes are struggling with issues that no human can ever solve. People cannot completely heal the hearts, minds, lives, and relationships that have been broken. People cannot heal addictions, deep wounds, or serious sickness. People cannot solve poverty, homelessness, and environmental problems that threaten our lives. People cannot stop catastrophic events such as earthquakes, fires, floods, and other weather-related events. People cannot take away anxiety, depression, fear, and oppression. Only God has the answers and power to do this! God loves us and wants to help!

I know God can heal and restore broken hearts, lives, and relationships because He's done it for me. I want to encourage others to come to Him, see how awesome and loving He truly is. Only God does a complete healing from the inside out--if people will come to Him and give Him a chance. God works in miraculous ways. We only need to look at the details of creation to see His handiwork.
