Life's pressures can seem to be insurmountable when raising children and fulfilling your own expectations of who you should be as a mother; especially when those pressures are compounded by "baby blues" or postpartum depression. One young mother's ray of hope came in the form of her young son's grin. His special grin was the lifeline in the sea of challenges that helped her make her way through the difficulties rather than drowning in them. It was also her inspiration in writing a children's book that will capture the reality of being a mother, not just the good parts.
