Thomas M. Tramble is a native of California’s San Francisco Bay Area and has a keen interest in design thinking for innovative lifestyle research. His particular focus is on sharing with parents and students effective innovative methods to “jump” the Achievement Gap. He believes when parents have a place to share with each other strategies that work [parenting4excellence.com], their children set reachable achievement goals and excel in their school work.

As a beginning public school teacher in 1971, he recognized how the “Gap” was being created and has now designed the thinking strategies that help students jump the achievement gap. He discovered that while students can see a connection between school work and college, too often students miss the connection between college and adult lifestyle design.

Mr. Tramble’s research is inspired by a driving desire to assist parents who want to give their child powerful assistance in coaching how to jump the achievement gap. The achievement gap has been well documented on graphs of student learning measurements as the indicator of student success in learning the public school curriculum. Mr. Tramble’s research will help students jump from a lower achievement level to a much higher level.

Mr. Tramble believes that students who use design thinking for strategic lifestyle planning ultimately connect school work to a life filled with joy and fulfillment. Join in the discussion.
