Jim Garnett

Jim Garnett was born in the small midwestern town of Carlisle, Iowa in 1949, and grew up in that magical time of the 50's and 60's filled with hula hoops, flat tops and butch wax, glass milk bottles, cuffed jeans, and little candy buttons stuck on paper rolls.

His career has followed his natural abilities as a communicator, focusing on the three distinct areas of: (1) Matters of Faith - 30 years as a Senior Pastor; (2) Matters of Family - 20 years as a Nationally Certified Parent Trainer; and (3) Matters of Finance - 20 years as Director of Financial Education.

Jim prefers to see himself in the role of "a student of life" rather than a teacher who dispenses wisdom to everyone he meets. He readily admits that he has learned far more from others than he has ever taught.

Jim attempts to maintain a communication style whether speaking, writing, or teaching as though he and his audience were chatting over a cup of coffee.

He and his wife, Ginny, are retired and live in the beautiful town of Henderson, Nevada.
