Adrian Baldwin

Adrian Baldwin is a Mancunian now living and working (semi-retired) in Wales. Back in the 90s, he wrote for various TV shows: Smith & Jones, Clive Anderson, Brian Conley, Paul McKenna, Hale & Pace, Rory Bremner (and others). Wooo, get him.

After that, he wrote three screenplays, one of which received generous financial backing from the Film Agency for Wales, then turned to novel writing - in a genre he feels is often overlooked; a genre he has always been a fan of: Dark Comedy (sometimes referred to as Horror's weird cousin). He has also written several dark comedy shorts.

BARNACLE BRAT (a dark comedy for grown-ups), his 1st novel won Indie Novel of the Year 2016 award (see above) - his 2nd novel STANLEY McCLOUD MUST DIE! (More dark comedy for grown-ups) published 2016, and his 3rd novel: THE SNOWMAN AND THE SCARECROW (another dark comedy for grown-ups) published 2018.
