She is the award-winning author of The Money Tree and Saving with a Goal, which won Children’s Financial Literacy Book of the Year and Youth Financial Literacy Program of the Year for its impactful Saving with a Goal program.

As the founder of We Lit Academy, LaDonna is on a mission to make reading fun and accessible for all children. Through her innovative books, music, and literacy initiatives, she helps kids develop a love for reading while learning essential life skills. She’s also taking that mission on the road—traveling with We Lit Academy to bring books, author visits, and reading adventures directly to communities across the country.
