Dr. Zachary Patterson DVM

I grew up in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, a small town near Kansas City. I developed an interest in animal health through spending time on my grandfather's farm, the show "Emergency Vets" on Animal Planet, and was further inspired by the local veterinarians who were well regarded and respected in the local community.

By age 12, Veterinarian was at the top of my list of prospective careers. I was active in school activities and participated in multiple sports (Cross-country, Basketball, and Track) as well as clubs and organizations such as Future Farmers of America (FFA), Student Council, and National Honor Society.

After graduating from Pleasant Hill High School in May 2004, I attended Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri on academic scholarship, majoring in Biology. I focused on completing the required courses for veterinary school and received early acceptance to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine after my junior year of college.

At the University of Missouri, I completed four years of rigorous classroom, laboratory, and clinical training. My journey to becoming a Veterinarian culminated with my graduation on May 13th, 2011. I was officially Dr. Patterson!
