Roger Hecht

Roger Hecht was a trombonist in the Syracuse Symphony and the Lake George Opera orchestra. He now performs as a freelancer and volunteer in the Boston area and manages two amateur groups. A reviewer for American Record Guide, Roger has contributed to Classical Music: The Listener's Companion, The Elgar Society Journal, and Positive Feedback. He also works as a reference librarian. Roger has auditioned for the New York Philharmonic and Boston Symphony, as well as orchestras in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Oviedo (Spain)—all unsuccessfully.
