Dr. Jason Troyer earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kansas and is an Associate Professor of Psychology at a college in East Tennessee. Dr. Troyer has worked as a therapist counseling bereaved individuals and has led grief support groups. He is a member of the Association for Death Education & Counseling (ADEC) and is Certified in Thanatology (the study of death, dying & bereavement). In addition to teaching, he provides presentations and workshops on grief and assisting others.
Dr. Troyer lives with his wife and daughters in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee.
