Larry Sells

Larry Sells was raised in New Hartford, IA. He has spent his entire life in Iowa.

He graduated from UNI, University Northern Iowa, in 1996.

He writes short fiction, poetry, flash fiction, and personal essays. He self publishes

through Create Space.

In 2008, he committed suicide and was brought back. This was a turning point

in his life. He started his training to become a controller of his mental illness, bipolar

disorder, depression. This use to be called manic depression, years ago.

Sells is a state, Iowa, certified peer support specialist and volunteers at a local wellness

center. He hopes work as a paid peer support specialist soon.
