Laura Stephenson

Laura Stephenson was a mother of twin girls aged 2 years old and a daughter of 6 when she passed away at the age of 35. She worked in the charity sector since leaving University, mainly within Cancer Support charities. She loved life and loved people. Her faith was enormous. Laura’s words “There are no coincidences with God , just lots of God incidences!”

As one of her friends described her, “Laura always managed to make everyone around her feel better. She always had wise words of support despite what she was personally dealing with. She will forever be the prime example of a super mummy, wife, daughter, sister and friend.”

Father to Laura and her two sisters, Emily and Harriet, and husband to Julia. Moving from the south of England to the North West he became Head Teacher at a number of schools in Lancashire. He worked on behalf of the Government on Educational Technology for a brief period. Devoted to providing the best possible education in all of his schools, he worked in Africa for 12 months supporting an educational technology project in Malawi. Proud to write the book on Laura’s behalf so that others may benefit from her words that those diagnosed with cancer can still lead an amazing life
