Having been a prolific reader since childhood, Tom DiCaprio decided to become an author after reading the 1994 Tom Clancy novel Debt of Honor. "I was spellbound not only by the entire book, but by the ending of Debt of Honor as well. It was then that I decided to become an author myself." Tom published his first novel Black Friday in October 2013 after writing it in November 2012 during National Novel Writer's Month. "Black Friday" was then submitted to the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest in early 2013. The prequel and sequel to "Black Friday" is currently being written. "Black Friday" is a fictional look at a terrorist plot to attack the malls the day after Thanksgiving. "Black Friday" is also a look at the lives of an eclectic group of characters throughout the entire day as well as what motivates each individual.
"My second novel 'Ruthless' was published on March 19, 2014. It is a look at the Curry and Jackman political families as they feud during a twenty five year period. New York Governor James Frederick Curry and Texas Senator Zeke Roy Jackman face off during a heated 2020 Democratic Presidential Campaign with a controversial result that results in the changing of the destiny of American history in the process."
"My third novel "Deception" was published in August 2014. "Deception" is about Saudi Cleric Mohammad and Ibrahim and his plot to takee over several European as well as the American government and convert the aforementioned nations to becoming Islamic nations under the Mecca Caliphate. "Deception" is a cross between The Manchurian Candidate and The Da Vinci Code. Also the sequel to "Deception" is currently being written.
Tom DiCaprio's next novel will be "Off the Grid" which will both be a sequel to "Deception" as well as a prequel and sequel to "Black Friday". "Off the Grid" is about J.T. Vincent, a CIA Agent who was set up to be killed during a raid to decapitate a resurging ISIS. He proceeds to go off the grid and under the radar to both confront his past and find the truth about why he was set up in order to prevent a catastrophic terrorist attack from taking place. One that would be worse than the 11/23 Attacks.
