Kim Schlinke

Kim Schlinke has been making things since she hit the planet. Starting with doll clothes made from her mother's sewing scraps, she has explored her creativity. Self-taught, she has dabbled in painting, fiber arts, mixed media, woodworking and interior decorating.

In December of 2002 she received her first pasta machine as a Christmas gift, after seeing Donna Kato work her magic on the Carrol Duval Show. Polymer clay became her passion. The limitless possibilities of the clay drive her continuing discoveries.

Her polymer clay buttons are featured at Gauge Knits and Austin Fabric Co-op.

both in Austin, TX.

Kim currently serves as Vice President of the Austin Polymer Clay Guild.
