Darren Edwards

Darren is an urban missionary and a church planter, based in Lincoln (UK), with the Elim Pentecostal Church. Living with his wife and two children, he lives a life of incarnational mission among unbelievers and new Christians. He is passionate about evangelism and discipleship among unreached communities, and his church is affectionately known as Chav Church across the UK.

Darren's writing style is very easy to read for those that are new to faith. Although he did not complete mandatory schooling in the UK, he has achieved a B.A. Hons. Degree in Applied Theology with Regents Theological College.

Darren's background is one of crime and drugs, among other illegal activities from his youth, which drives his passion and mission to the outcasts -- the lowest and least -- in his community. His first book, Chav Christianity, has been discussed in many forums in the UK, and was written on the back of a dissertation about the class war's effect on the UK church.
