Joseph James

Joseph James grew up in a small town in South Central Texas, USA in the sixties. He says he was fortunate to grow up in the country, because it helped him overcome the absence of his father. His dad left his mother at the age of three. Sometimes, he would walk for hours at a time as a child through the countryside in order to find peace and tranquility. He observed the animals in the wild and took note of how they lived and interacted. He also learned first hand about plants, farming, and ranching. It was during this time that He came to realize the Lord was real.

Later in life, he would meditate on these precious times to help encourage himself, especially when living in the large cities of San Antonio and Dallas. He now lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wonderful wife and son where he can look out of the window every morning to the beautiful mountains and see the majesty of the Lord. He is a passionate writer, songwriter, singer, and artist. He loves to create things and write stories that can help encourage others. He also writes in his blog on his Joseph-James.net when he can. He understands what it is like to live in torn family relationships. During certain times in his life, he has had to lean totally on the Lord to help him make it through each day. He speaks, sings and writes directly from His relationship with the Lord and all of his experiences.
