Diana Sisson

With over 20 years of experience in both private and public school systems, Diana Sisson is a certified reading consultant who holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She has worked abroad in developing reading programs for students in international settings, has consulted on federal research grants, and has presented at regional, national, and international conferences. Along with her sister, Betsy Sisson, she currently operates a consulting service focusing on professional development and school improvement. She also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Saint Joseph and Central Connecticut State University in the fields of reading and language arts, curriculum and instruction, and educational research. In addition, Diana serves on special interest committees for the International Reading Association and on the board of the Connecticut Association for Reading Research as a principal investigator for original research study.
