Kat LaMons

Kat LaMons has been an adoption, education, and writing professional for the past twenty years. In addition to her direct work with adoptive families, Kat shepherded a cultural school for adoptees for many years and created an adoption-focused distance-learning curriculum used throughout the United States and seven foreign countries. She's also a former columnist for Adoption Today magazine.

Kat currently has two books published with co-author Trish Diggins: "The New Crunch-Time Guide to Parenting Language for Chinese Adoption" and "Ladybug Love: 100 Chinese Adoption Match Day Stories."

"It has been my privilege to share in hundreds and hundreds of adoption journeys," says Kat. "I have poured my heart and soul into seeing that "our" children are well cared for.
