Christine Abbott

Based in East Yorkshire UK, Christine is an experienced action learning facilitator and OD practitioner with a background of senior roles in the NHS and in Social Care. She served the Institute of Leadership and Management twice as chair. Following 5 years working in academia designing and delivering a range of bespoke leadership and organisation development programmes to a wide variety of public and private organisations, Christine is now an associate with the Open University and partner in the Centre for Action Learning (C-alf Learning Ltd). Christine has published numerous books and articles on Action Learning and worked across Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Christine is on the Editorial board for the Journal Action Learning Research and Practice, member of GELNET (Global Executive Leadership Network), a board member of the Academy of Sustainability. In 2023 Christine was awarded the annual Robert Dilworth Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Transformational Change and Action Learning by the Global Leadership Forum.
