Peggy J Harrison

Peggy Harrison (b. 1939) has followed many different roads, from working as an engineering secretary at Hughes Aircraft in California in the early 60s to owning a gift shop and tea room in Texas for almost 20 years. She has volunteered as court-appointed advocate for children in the CPS system, mentor for high school students, and facilitator for a teen court system. She sits on the board of a historical foundation and is director of Wild Rose Heritage Center. She is a professional violist, playing in string quartets and symphony orchestras. She and Jay Hosler met while playing in an orchestra in Southern California in 1969, and have been friends and musical colleagues for the decades since. In 2011 they became partners in the fiction-writing project that has produced the Norm and Burny series.

Peggy lives in Keller, Texas with her husband Paul and an overfed cat named Minnie.
