Carol L. Stimmel, PhD, is an author, instructor, seasoned leadership executive, principal adviser at Interswarm, LLC (formerly Manifest Mind) and a progenitor of the OpenXFORM engineering development model, PRO·​LOGUE briefing service, and the Big Ethics by Design framework (tm).

Author or 4 books (1 with D.S. Olson), 2 of which are standard industry texts, Big Data Analytics Strategies for the Smart Grid and Building Smart Cities: Analytics, ICT, and Design Thinking. Her most recent work, Evolving Innovation Ecosystems describes OpenXFORM, is a bioempathetic design model for open innovation scenarios.
