C. Margo Mowbray writes from her home in rural western Montana. Her newspaper career began at age twenty at one of Montana's oldest weeklies. For nearly three decades, she continued in a fulfilling career of printing, and publishing a chain of award-winning weekly newspapers.
"An Answering Flame", released Sept. 2013, is her first work of fiction. It won the 2014 Media Award from the American College of Nurse-Midwives. A second book, "Havoc Red – Surviving the Alaska-Siberia Route," tells a World War II pilot's story and reveals the darker side of our alliance with the Soviets. It is now available on Amazon.
Mowbray is a licensed private pilot and aircraft owner with over one thousand left-seat hours. She has served in the Montana Senate and currently serves on her local hospital board. She is the mother of four grown children.
