Dr. Steve Smith

Dr. Steve Smith's passion is to help pastors and churches by leading them toward transformation through a deep intimate relationship with God.

For 38 years he was a pastor, church planter, and regional church supervisor. He is the founder of Church Equippers whose mission is to train pastors, church leaders, and associations of churches in transformational discipleship and effective church ministry systems.

Steve's Doctor of Ministry degree is in Executive Leadership. He is a strategic thinker, relational networker, mentor, and coach for pastors and young leaders. He conducts in-person and internet training seminars and coaches churches and denominations on church revitalizaion and transformation-based ministry systems using his Church GameChanger and Increasing Church Capacity materials.

Steve is an extensive reader and has broad interests, including hiking, travel, trivia, history. Married for over 46 years to his wife, Shirley, they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. His home base is in central Florida.
