I am a writer, editor, blogger, photographer, social media strategist and now a publisher. I've been in the communications field for almost a decade, doing work for various publications including D Magazine and the Austin Monthly. Before that I was in graduate school earning my Creative Writing Masters and at UT pursuing an English degree, where I wrote for publications such as Pulp! Literary Magazine.
A communications specialist by day, I've written supernatural fiction for more than 20 years. I am currently in the process of releasing all my finished titles on Amazon.com and CreateSpace, including the time travel novel I've been working on for the last two decades. (Coming soon.) In my writing I try to get to the point while also employing concrete descriptions. I also try to write fiction that's actually fiction, not something that feels just like nonfiction. I don't personally see the point of fiction mirroring reality. (That's what creative non-fiction is for.) Fiction should be really wacked-out in my opinion, and my fiction usually is.
