Brandy Dillon

Brandy D. Boxie, LCSW, is a dedicated mental health professional, rehabilitation consultant, and resilience advocate whose life and work reflect extraordinary strength and purpose. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University and her Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University, later obtaining her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.

In 2008, following a life-altering experience that resulted in the amputation of her limbs, Ms. Boxie emerged as a powerful voice for perseverance and faith. Her courage and tenacity were recognized in multiple features of FACE Magazine, where she was honored as a “Warrior.” She has also received numerous awards acknowledging her resilience, leadership, and unwavering spirit.

Despite profound challenges, Ms. Boxie has authored and published three books, delivered impactful presentations across diverse platforms, and provided compassionate mental health services to adolescents and adults. She currently serves as a rehabilitation consultant and leads the Acadiana Limb Loss Group, where she empowers individuals with limb loss and limb indifference through advocacy, education, and improved access to care.
