Carol Frey

CAROL FREY M.D.

Dr. Carol Frey, an orthopedic surgeon who has cared for Olympians and professional and high school athletes, is former Chief of Foot & Ankle Surgery at USC and now teaches at UCLA. She has appeared as an expert on youth sports injuries for national media. Dr. Frey--the "team doctor" and mom to sons who play sports--is partner in the West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation in Manhattan Beach, California.

JAKE FEDER

Jake Feder is a passionate and committed student athlete. He continues to play elite level basketball and was captain of his varsity squad in High School. He has played basketball and volleyball at the club and recreational level since the first grade. In addition, he has been an AAU ranked beach volleyball player and a member of several AAU club basketball and volleyball travel teams. Jake was honored to be chosen for the All-Bay League and All-Academic All-Star Basketball Team his senior year in High School. He also played on his High School's nationally ranked varsity volleyball team.

His goal is to follow in his parents' footsteps as a collegiate student athlete and to pursue a career in sports medicine and writing. He is currently an undergraduate at the University of California.
