Marcia D. Kuss

Marcia D. Kuss, a clinical specialist in psychiatric nursing, was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She married and moved to Norway in 1978. The mother of two children, Jahn and Teresa, holds degrees in liberal arts, nursing, psychiatric nursing, family therapy, and education.

Marcia's debut book, The House of Odel, tells the incredibly moving story of an American-born girl who encounters cultural clashes and family conflicts when she marries a Norwegian man and moves to his Odel farm in Norway. The House of Odel was inspired by a true story that has been carefully crafted into fiction.
