I am a strange mixture of restaurant cook and theologian, who also happens to have a daughter with Down syndrome. I enjoy writing about the latter two, but prefer to leave my (not so great) cooking skills off the printed page - for the time being, at least. The book closest to my heart is "Room 47: Down Syndrome - a new father's diary", which tells the story of my first year as father to a wonderful girl who was born with a little bit more in the chromosome department, and a whole lot more in capturing the hearts of all who know her.
