Michael Thomas Brimbau

Michael Thomas Brimbau is co-founder and poetry editor for The Literary Hatchet. He is a life-long resident of Massachusetts, born in Lizzie Borden’s Fall River.

Shortly after retiring from the telecommunications industry, he began extensively studying the Borden murder case.

While writing The Girl with the Pansy Pin, Michael simultaneously worked on a play about the trial of Lizzie Borden, which he hopes to complete soon. A lover of poetry, this is his first attempt at writing fiction. Michael is also working on a book of poetry.

Having grown up in New England, few can write about 19th century Fall River like Michael Thomas Brimbau—its streets and its people. Never has a novel about Lizzie Borden and her world been revealed and fashioned with so much veracity and authenticity, until now.
