Cheryl Zelenka knows what it is to walk through the “Valley of the Shadow of Death,” and live to ascend the mountaintop of God. An undiagnosed brain tumor nearly took her life and caused ten years of clinical depression.

Cheryl lost her job, dream home, dog, and community. Transplanted and uprooted into a new state, she questioned God’s plan for her life. Refusing to wallow in self-pity, she decided to make the best of her circumstances. Now a published author and inspirational speaker, she passionately lives to share words of hope and encouragement through God’s word.
