Stephen William McClure

The author was born in Glasgow, Scotland. At the age of fifteen, he and his family moved to the continent of Africa for a stay of close on twenty years. Since then he has traveled to the USA and now lives on the west coast of California. He has lived on three different continents and this has granted him a unique view on life.

As a youngster he grew up and attended local church. There he heard various stories being read from the Bible. But to him that was all they were - simply stories. For it should be noted that something has to happen to a person in order to make these stories come alive.

Then one day while studying at University something did happen - and the stories became real.

He finished his University studies with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and then entered the Computer Engineering workplace. Why did he choose this field as his career? Well, he just liked learning about how things worked. That and he also liked to use his imagination.

But later in life there were problems.

What he heard man say about the Bible did not always fit with what he read in the Bible. He started to have questions. Many questions. He would often ask those who should know but they could not provide the answers. Oh, they would give some vague reply and then the words 'His ways are higher than our ways' would be spoken. Over time he came to realize that this was the standard excuse. The excuse that many would use when they did not know the answer. But what he couldn't understand was that they never really tried to find out the answer. To them it always seemed too difficult. Something that could not be achieved.

But he was an engineer. He had been trained as a computer scientist. He had a mind that had been developed to look at difficult problems and to try and find plausible solutions.

So he took all the statements in the Bible that did not seem to fit and he started asking the only Person that could answer these questions. For each specific question asked he would find himself being woken up in the early hours of the morning with the answer. This answer would be associated with one or more passages in the Bible. These passages as well as their detailed understanding would be in his thoughts. When this happened he would write down all the relevant information. As you can see from the number of books he has 'authored' this practiced learning method has gone on for quite some time and in this, the Bible was being used to interpret the Word of God.

Now his working career generally involves him reviewing system specifications for the products he develops. Such specifications would stipulate exactly what each final product must do, how it should operate, and other such things.

So he started to think.

What if the Bible is a 'System Specification' identifying all the events that are applicable to mankind. We should take and understand Biblical statements exactly as they have been written and not modify them to suit and fit into either our or our church's concept of the Bible (ie. one's own 'doctrine').

And that is exactly what he has done with the books presented here.

These books review Biblical statements and present a different way of looking at things. By literally taking God at His Word, the author is presenting a clear logical perspective of the Bible that will enable the reader to see the scriptures fit together in ways they might never have previously considered. This action is performed independent of church denomination and the reader is then free to make up their own mind as to how such should be applied to their life.

The book series should be read in the following order:

1. Many are called, Few are chosen

2. The Ultimate Gift

3. The Timelines

4. Conversations

5. Prophecy

6. Spirit

7. Questions

He hopes you enjoy reading the books.
