Walter McFarland

Walter McFarland spent the first 13 years of his professional life as an employee of the federal government--beginning as a Presidential Management Fellow. He was interested in all aspects of human and organizational performance and eventually joined Hay Management Consultants and led the global business in HR, Learning, and Organizational Change for Booz Allen as a Senior Vice President.

Mr. McFarland had a leadership role in large scale public and private sector change engagements in the US, the UK, Italy, and Government of Guam. As a consultant, Mr. McFarland has won: the Hammer Award, the IRS Commissioner's Award, and recognition from the Smithsonian Institution among other honors.

Mr. McFarland was the 2013 Board Chair for the American Society for Training and Development and served on President Obama's Rank Award Council in 2012 and 2013.
